Lenka is currently a PhD student in Psychology and Education at the Faculty of Education. She is interested in students’ wellbeing, personal and professional development, and attitudinal change. When Lenka is not in lectures or practicals, she enjoys doing sport, particularly volleyball and running. She hopes to get to know fellow students by name and face, so do come for a chat! 🙂

Lenka’s role as Welfare Officer involves supporting students seeking advice on a whole range of difficulties – in conjunction with the Women’s and LGBT+ Officers – and promoting good mental health through one-to-one meetings and initiatives based in College. Lenka is a trained guidance counsellor and her approach is very person-centred. She is a member of the British Psychological Society, Association for Business Psychologists and the Institute of Guidance Counsellors. Lenka would like to invite you to share your personal concerns or ideas to promote well-being in College.
